Verónica Fernández has a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Philology and a degree in Screenwriting from ECAM (Escuela de Cine y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid), where she also teaches. During her more than 20 years in the audiovisual sector, she has worked as a scriptwriter, creative director, script coordinator, and executive producer on many television series(Hache, Seis Hermanas, El Príncipe, Hospital Central, Cuéntame cómo pasó, El Comisario and A las once en casa, among others) and feature films (Ismael and Marsella).

Currently, Verónica leads Netflix's fiction team in Spain and Portugal.
