Sonsoles Ónega

Sonsoles Ónega (Madrid, 1977) is a journalist, graduated from San Pablo CEU University in Madrid. She currently presents 'Y ahora Sonsoles' on Antena 3, a leading afternoon show and the most-watched evening programme. She has worked at CNN+ and Noticias Cuatro, as head of Court news, and was a parliamentary correspondent for Informativos Telecinco from 2008 to 2018. In June 2018, she began a new professional career at the head of the program 'Ya es Mediodía' (Telecinco). In addition, on that same channel, she has presented 'Ya son las Ocho' and the reality show 'La Casa Fuerte'. 

In 2021, she directed the documentary '15M, Generación Perdida'. She has collaborated with COPE and writes for YoDona. She has published seven novels, including 'Después del amor', winner of the Fernando Lara Award in 2017, and 'Las hijas de la criada', winner of the Planeta 2023 Award.
