Martina Prieto Pariente

Martina grew up in a family closely linked to viticulture and winemaking. Her career combines a solid technical background with an innovative vision focused on respect for the countryside and winemaking excellence.

After attending the School of Agricultural Engineering (UPM), she decided to complement her technical training by pursuing a degree in Oenology (UVA) and various specialized programs at the University of Bordeaux. She is currently in the process of obtaining the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) diploma.

She is co-founder of Bodegas Prieto Pariente, a project she started, together with her brother Ignacio, in 2013, focused on the recovery of historic vineyards and winemaking in different unique places in Castilla y León. Since 2017, she assumes, together with her brother, the general management of Bodegas José Pariente as CEO and technical director, leading the development of all family projects. In 2024, they acquired the emblematic A Vilerma winery in the Ribeiro DO, the family's third project, fulfilling the dream of making high quality white wines in Galicia and in a privileged environment such as the Avia Valley (Ourense).
