Carol Thatcher

Carol Thatcher is the daughter of legendary British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She studied at University College London and has worked as a freelance writer, broadcaster, and author. 

She has written several books, including 'Diary of an Election: With Margaret Thatcher on the Campaign Trail' (1983), and the best-selling biography of her father Denis Thatcher ('Below the Parapet: The Biography of Denis Thatcher'), whom she has described as "a role model for consorts from 1979 to 1990.

He always used to say that the role was to always be there, never there." She also produced a documentary about him that contained his only public interview. In 2008, she wrote the autobiographical book 'Swim on Part in the Goldfish Bowl: A Memoir'. In 2005 she participated in 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’. Carol is a funny, charming, and humorous speaker. She loves Spain and enjoys spending time there studying the language and the culture. She is always looking for new places to explore
