Alice Acuña joined Cepsa on December 1, 2023, as Trading Director and is a member of the company's Management Committee. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive global experience in the energy sector.Previously, she was Senior Vice President of LNG Marketing and Trading at Shell's Singapore headquarters. She was responsible for building and optimizing Shell's global LNG supply and trading portfolio with exceptional results and set a clear strategy during one of the industry's most volatile periods.

In her more than 27-year career with Shell, she held several senior management positions in Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, and Paraguay. She has led regional and global teams in business areas spanning trading, supply, strategy, lubricants, and aviation. She has also held board and management positions in several Shell subsidiaries.Alice holds a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Innovation from SAID/Oxford Business School; a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Cambridge University and a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Paraguay.

She has dual Paraguayan and Spanish citizenship and is a mother of two children.
